Production Features of the Lego Enterprise History

The company started to expand into new frontiers of the toy industry. Four decades ago LEGO started to target females with the adding of furniture pieces and dollhouses; in 1974 that introduced it is first individual figures, known as Minifigures; and in 1979 it expanded in to space with sets offering astronaut minifigures, rockets, lunar rovers and spaceships. The Successione series debuted that same year, a line of charms elements directed at young girls. This era also observed the creation of a management structure, with Godtfred Kirk Christiansen’s youngster Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen subscribing the bureaucratic staff and working to modernize the company’s manufacturing methods.

In the same decade, Profano branched out into medieval territory with the Castle motif, and in 80 the company added its first coach sets to its collection.

In 1989 Lego created the Pirate look, and with it many pirate delivers, wilderness islands and treasure. The company also widened its variety of facial expressions, adding beards, eye spots and lipstick in addition to the regular two eyes and smile. Some more aged Lego coin collectors resented these kinds of changes, preferring the more straightforward faces of earlier styles.
